At Muddy Brook Builders we try to support local small businesses whenever possible.  When it comes to buying lumber for our jobs we especially like to work with local lumber yards rather than big box name brand stores. 

We’ve found that local lumber yards offer a far superior product at a good value.  Lumber yards have more industry expertise and a much wider variety of materials to choose from.  These establishments are also more likely to work with you on sourcing custom orders.  

We like to support Howe Lumber of East Brookfield, MA and Koopman’s Lumber & Hardware in Grafton, MA.  As a homeowner if you are considering a renovation or a small project you’re completing yourself we encourage you to check out your local lumber supplier.  We think you’d be pleasantly surprised at the quality and value offered.   Don’t be intimidated, find an employee and ask questions!
